CREATE YOUR 20 DAY BINDER
During the challenge I will provide you with lots of printables:
- Daily task sheet
- To-do list
- Checklists
- Routine charts
SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR THIS TASK:
- A4 Ring binder folder (I purchase mine from Kmart or Officeworks)
- A printer
- Pack of 4 dividers or place the page dividers into plastic sleeves and use tabs to label the sleeves (I purcahsed my tabs from Kmart for $2).
- Have on hand at least 40 pieces of A4 paper to print the printables
Steps for this task:
[wlchecklist name=’PreTask1′]
Trim the spine page just shy of the text (2mm) so its easier to place into the binder. I find it easier to place the spine into the binder when the binder is completely open.

Keep your folder on hand so you can add your daily sheets to it each week.

Daily Tasks
You will find on each page a daily task sheet to correspond with the tasks within the challenge. You can print these from each page individually, or at the beginning of each week you will find all 5 daily sheets for that week on the weekly pages.

Well i”ve just completed all the folder ready for the 20 Day Challenge, except for the labels for the dividers. I will have to purchase tomorrow for completion.
Feeling excited but also feeling a little overwhelmed!
My house is a big mess & I would like it to be an organised home again!
Okay here come all the excuses, the last few years i have lived with major depression, spinal surgery, was moving house to Coffs Harbour but sold the home January 2016, just before being diagnosed with bowel cancer. Booked in next week to see if no more cancer
So that’s me in a nutshell! I’m looking forward to some closure & getting my life & home back into some organised order. 😀
I’ve just emailed you Judith to check in and see how you are feeling 🙂 xx
Feeling pumped and have only done pre task one and 2. In the meantime I am getting a head start on house cleaning. I am a Foster Mum to two boys, one is disabled and high needs so if I can get a head start I won’t feel too bad if something comes out of left field and I fall a day or two behind the others
You’ve done well Anne to get through the pre-tasks already, great work.
Binder good to go! I LOVE this sort of organising 🙂 Can’t wait to get into the challenge now… My first year with both kids full time – so I am hoping to have this house organised and running VERY smoothly and getting rid of the OVERWHELM! Thanks for putting this challenge together Kat!
Your very welcome Nicole, check out the blog this week and last for a few of my top organising tips for mornings with the kids 🙂
Done and Done 🙂
Your onto it Samantha, great start!!
Looking forward to re-doing the 20 day challenge as we introduced another baby into our family and moved house just after the last one was completed. I am really looking forward to getting my system back in place. We will be so much better for it xx
Congratulations on your new bub Kody!!
Hi. Very excited. As a full time nurse, 11 year old twins, shift worker hubby and a small farm I am completely lost and fairly overwhelmed. Cant wait to get started.
Sounds like a busy household Joanne, hope you enjoy the challenge, remember you don’t need to complete it within the 20 days, you can split one day into 2 or 3, whatever suits your schedule 🙂
Folder ready! How exciting 🙂
Hi Kat it would seem the 1st November is a good day to start the organising and cleaning our home challenge as well as the Christmas to do! We have family arriving from overseas on the 9th December and this is just the help, structure and motivation that I need to be accountable to making progress! watch this space!
How are you going Geraldine, are you enjoying the pre-challenges. Having family visit is a wonderful motivation for you to kickstart the challenge!
Thank you 🙂
Binder all ready to go. I am so excited to be doing this challenge. I have been wanting to do it for awhile. My house is a upside down mess since i had my 2nd child who is now 20 months old. My husband is the messes person i know and makes the kitchen a upside down mess. He uses 6 or more plates when he cooks plus the rest of other utensils A new glass every time he has a drink. I have seen him get a glass have a drink and straight after gets a new glass out of the cupboard. I do not even think he relies he does it. If i have washed everything up during the day and after dinner and the kitchen is tidy. The next morning i get up the kitchen is upside down again. He says its not him and its everyone else mess. Rant over I do not think i am ever going to have a clean kitchen but i want the rest of my house to be clean.
Ooh Helen, sounds like your hubby it stuck in a habit he doesn’t realise. I actually have glasses with my kids names on it. I used my dymo labeller which has been through the dishwasher for 12 months and is still stuck on really well. For this same reason, was sick of washing 100 glasses a day… well not really 100, but you know. Best of luck with the challenge 🙂
