Clean – Light switches and door handles
Today’s cleaning task is simple, using one of your homemade antibacterial wipes or a microfibre cloth dampened with all purpose cleaner, wipe over all your light switches and door handles to remove dirt and germ build up. Don’t forget the light switch in the garage or wardrobes! See step by step instructions here.

Organise – Medicines
Organise your first aid kit, medication, scripts, lotions and band aids so you can easily find items the next time. Print the Emergency Contact printable and add to your medicine kit or a noticeboard near your phone.

I have a few boxes for medicines/first aid items:
- Scripts
- Kids & adults medication
- Medicine cups
- Bandaid’s, bandages etc.
- Vitamins
I used to store all our adult and kids medications separate, however I wanted an extra tupperware container to store bakers flour so now store all my medications together, it works.

Contents for a Basic First Aid Kit:

Medicines should be stored high out of the reach of children, I keep ours on the top shelf of the pantry. I find this is a central location, easy to get to in a hurry. I keep my vitamins in a plastic basket so it’s easy to take off the shelf and access each day.

New Habit – Junk Mail
Throw out junk mail as soon as you have read it.

You should see how many expired medicines I just got rid of!!
it’s amazing how quickly they expire… or how long they have been in the medicine box and we don’t realise!!
